What happens to email accounts if we changed the main(primary) domain of cPanel account?

It’s very important to know about this, if you are considering your email accounts while changing the primary domain of your cPanel account. We will definitely have a doubt about this! After we changed the primary domain what will happen to the email accounts already created under the account.

For example, if you have a cPanel account with primary domain “aaaa.com” and it have number of email accounts ‘[email protected]’, ‘[email protected]’ etc. You want to change the primary domain from “aaaa.com” to “bbbb.com”.

You can proceed the domain name change without worries! The email accounts are not deleted, but rather they are updated with the new domain name. That means after changing the domain name all email account updated with new domain name. For instance, if you have [email protected] created, then it becomes [email protected] after you make the modification.

That’s it 🙂
