An adventurous trip to Meesapulimala

I cannot move forward without sharing my travel experience at Meesapulimala. During my vacations, I always like to travel. This time, we (Sabin Kunjumon, Sreejith, Gokul, Anoop and I) selected “Meesapulimala” as our destination. This was the impact of the movie Charlie. In this movie the actor “Dulquer Salmaan” has mentioned this place in one sequence. After this movie this place became one of the famous tourist place in Munnar, Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala.

The dialogue was “Did you ever seen snow falling in Meeshapulimala?” Okay we planned to visit there and see how the snow is falling over there 🙂 It was an awesome trip and an unforgettable one in my life.

It’s the second highest peak in Kerala which is standing at a height of  2,640 m (8,660 ft).  And located in the mountain range of Western Ghats. If you are interested in trekking, plan a trip to Meesapulimala. Though it is the highest Mountain in Kerala region which can be trekked because Anamudi area is restricted for trekking.

We selected the following route:

Direct to Munnar --> Suryanelli --> Then chose  a Truck to Hill station
via kolukkumalai --> Then trekking to Meesapulimala :)

Here I’m sharing some interesting photos from our trip.

We were at “Ayur County Resorts

  1. Really, even I have never been to Meesapulimala, I can feel the soul of the place from the photographs you had updated. It also seems to be a professional touch. Really awesome place…
